I started drawing when I was very young, and couldn't seem to stop. I used to sit in my room and fill sheet after sheet. There was always excitement in those first moments, when I stared at the blank page. I still find the potential of empty space vaguely intoxicating.

I studied Graphic Design in Buenos Aires, and soon thereafter moved to NY in 2001 where I built up an extensive career as an art director for an award winning company. It was during that period when I decided to dedicate more time to illustration. A helpless optimist, I'm a true believer that once you make a commitment, the universe conspires to help you. The streets of New York certainly came together and provided me with an enduring grid of work, love, and friends.

In 2006 I moved from Brooklyn to San Francisco. The last two years I have dedicated all my time to my artwork, working every day in my sunny studio in the Mission district. I divide my time between illustration assignments and my company Petit Collage, which I started with the idea of offering affordable art for children (and grownups!) with a modern feel.

I have written and illustrated several children's books and there are more projects in the works. My artwork has been licensed for stationery, wall decor, and dinnerware. Some clients include Anthropologie, Pottery Barn Kids, The Art Group, Habitat Uk, Galison, Templar Publishing, and Chronicle Books.
